Laminating Waxes
We use TERMOFLEX®L as an adhesive material for laminating different substrates: paper, aluminium and plastic films specifically developed for their application in complex laminates, both rigid and flexible.
Our waxes provide an excellent adhesion between substrates of different nature and offer excellent resistance to delamination, both cold and hot, regardless of the climate. They represent a great barrier, not only against humidity but also against greases, a key quality for packaging butter, margarine, concentrated broths, etc.
TERMOFLEX®L provides great lamination power for different uses. Its versatility allows it to be effective for the light embossing of aluminium/paper to cardboard used in soluble coffee cans or similar, and at the same time achieve very complex lamination used in construction; strong aluminium/nylon/kraft mesh joints combined with fiberglass.
Their viscosities are very diverse, specifically studied in each case to achieve good working speeds on the machine during the manufacturing process, although with a high viscosity it is recommended to lower the machine speed to avoid the formation of yarns.
